Drip coffee as beautiful as a photobook
How can I experience moments like this? Where is this beautiful scenery?
Such are the thoughts that arise when looking at TAISETSU Coffee's original package drip coffee.
Like Hiroki Inoue, a photographer living in Higashikawa whom we introduced previously, Natsumi Handa held a photo exhibition in 2013 at " Roaster Coaster ", a self-roasted coffee shop in Higashikawa Town where TAISETSU Coffee was born.
Flying squirrel siblings, a mother bear and her cubs in the deep green forest...
Handa's gaze capturing these animals is always warm and gentle. It invites you into the vast nature of Hokkaido during your mere 10-minute coffee break.
The five types of original package drip coffee with Handa's photos printed on them are so beautiful and atmospheric that it's a shame to open them.
Some customers even carefully open the packages with scissors and frame them as decorations.
In 2016, Natsumi Handa was selected as one of the top 10 photographers from among many at the "Tokyo Camera Club," Japan's largest juried photo submission website.
Now, she is a popular photographer with calendars available for sale.
When you learn about anecdotes like waiting 5 hours just to see a flying squirrel for 20 seconds on Handa's Instagram, your imagination expands even further about the creatures in your hand.
Why not choose your daily cup of drip coffee as if flipping through a photo album?
How about a gift of drip coffee filled with nature, accompanied by chocolates for your loved ones?
