Brewing Perfection: The Ultimate French Press Guide
Master the French Press with Taisetsu Coffee
Hello, coffee lovers! Today, we're diving into the world of French press coffee brewing. If you're searching for the best way to use a French press or wondering how to get the most flavor out of your coffee beans, you're in the right place. At Taisetsu Coffee, we're not just about providing great quality beans, we're also here to guide you on your coffee brewing journey. So, let's get started!
Start with Top-Notch Beans
First things first, if you want a top-notch cup of coffee, you've got to start with top-notch beans. That's where we come in. At Taisetsu Coffee, we provide freshly roasted coffee that you can grind fresh for the best experience. We recommend starting with a ratio of between 60 and 70 grams per liter, but hey, you're the boss of your brew, so adjust to your heart's content.
The Brewing Process
Now, onto the brewing. After grinding your coffee (more of a medium grind rather than super coarse), put it in your French press. Pour boiled water over the coffee. We suggest a ratio of 30 grams of coffee to 500 grams of water. Let the mixture sit for four minutes, then give the crust that forms on top a good stir. Some of the coffee will start to fall away, leaving some foam and floating bits on top. Scoop these off and discard them.
Patience and Precision
Remember, patience and precision are key to achieving the best results. And if you're in Japan, we've got good news for you. We can send bags of our freshly roasted coffee anywhere in the country. So, whether you're in Hokkaido or Okinawa, you can enjoy a perfect cup of Taisetsu Coffee right at home.
