☕ About Sugatami
"Sugatami" is a dark roast blend inspired by the mystical Sugatami Pond on the slopes of Mt. Asahidake. Characterized by a rich body and chocolate-like sweetness, it is our store's most popular coffee.
It uses 100% specialty coffee beans of Peru Machu Picchu Q Grade. Its smooth mouthfeel and long-lasting finish create a special moment.
✨ Premium Package
The 200g package is a beautifully designed, high-quality package. Mt. Asahidake (2,291m), Hokkaido's highest peak, stands majestically in the center, with the silhouette of the Daisetsuzan mountain range in the background.
🔍 Hidden Animal — There is an animal hidden in this package. Try to find out what animal it is and where it is... Hint: it's a small creature you might encounter around Sugatami Pond.
This design, with its white birch trees and wild animals, truly captures the original landscape of Hokkaido. It's a design that looks great in your kitchen or office.
🏅 Q Grade Certification
Q Grade is a certification for specialty coffee evaluated by strict, globally recognized standards. Only beans that score 80 points or higher out of 100 are certified.
The Peru Machu Picchu Q Grade used in Sugatami is cultivated in the high altitudes of the Andes Mountains and is characterized by a clean taste and rich sweetness.

☕ Trivia
Sugatami Pond is a crater lake located at an altitude of approximately 1,600m on Mt. Asahidake. On windless days, the reflection of Mt. Asahidake can be seen in the water like a mirror, which is the origin of its name. It has long been revered by the Ainu people as a sacred place and is one of Hokkaido's premier power spots.
