The Mount Asahi blend packaging deliberately does not depict animals. Hokkaido's highest peak, Mount Asahi, towering over our town of Higashikawa—its majestic form is the star of this blend. The 2,291m summit stands proudly in the center, as if watching over everything.

About Mount Asahi
Mount Asahi, at 2,291m, is Hokkaido's highest peak. It is known as the main peak of the Daisetsuzan mountain range and is famous for being the mountain where autumn leaves can be seen earliest in Japan. Its majestic appearance is called "Kamuy Mintara (Playground of the Gods)."

TAISETSU COFFEE carefully roasts each cup in Higashikawa Town, at the foot of the Daisetsuzan mountains. It tastes even more delicious when brewed with meltwater from the Daisetsuzan mountains.
